What antivirus software do you recommend I use ?

trend internet security is about the best option. Just STAY AWAY FROM NORTONS!!!!! and you will be fine.

I currently trying out AVANT, as the MS one touch AV failed me, and I no longer have faith in it.

it has a resident memory scanner, email scanner, P2P scanner, IM scanner, Network Scanner, Web Scanner - all of which u can switch/off at will.

but wat i like the most is the awsome interface..skins also available.

BTW antivir on full heuristic detection finds previosley undetected viruses, give it a spin for 2nd opinion and peice of mind

Try ClamWin, the 'doze port of ClamAV. According to their forum it'll work on Win64. As an aside, it also works on Server 2003 - dead handy for situations when the traditional choices won't work.
