Any 384kbps to 1Mbps upgrades yet?

Aren't you a month early? You don't expect them to work overtime do you?

Only on the 1st October. That is they don't change their story again and make it even later.

Ja i know, i'm not upset or anything, i understand whats going, just would have been nice for them to say, you are going to get 384k until such a time that the lines are upgraded.

Its not really an issue and im happy to wait. I could always push up straight to 2mb if i wanted to (which was the original plan) but then my cost at the end of september will be quite high (double payment for september and October). All in all, Mweb's and Telkoms service has been very good, my line was installed within 10 days, and my account was up and running about 5 days after that.
 
i phoned 10210 number the other day and the lady i spoke to informed me that line upgrade starts Nov/Dec 2012 in our area (NW) :((. F*** telkom why they send email says in between sep/oct 2012.

And you believe what a non-technical contract worker at a call centre tells you (when it is not scripted)?
