Any advice on this Win7 Error?

Hi All,

Please can someone let me know if the below error means anything to you. On one of my work PC's, we get intermittent BSOD's, and usually when the PC load is more heavy (From what i've seen anyway)... I am using Windows 7 Professional x86

Why is that machine not running Service Pack 1?

Hi Gary, will get those files and post here when i am in the office again. Not using SP1 as we were having problems with a very important software that we use while using SP1 and restored the OS back to this version...

A quick google search produced the following info:

BCCCode 1a is Memory Management fault.

get some memtest software

Thanks Mr.Jax, i'm on my phone now, so havent looked at the link yet, but will do when i'm in the office. Is there any free memtest software that you can recommend?

I think that this one is your best bet to test memory.
They have a boot-able ISO image containing linux + memtest which would probably be the best way to test

Another option would be to have a look in the machine's BIOS; I think some of the newer motherboards's bios's have memtest capabilities built in.
