My phone kkeps telling me no space. And i dont wanna root me phone.
Even if its a paid app,please...

What phone is it, what version of Android are you using? More details please?

Sorry..
Its a Desire with 2.2 froyo on it.
At this point in time im so the moer in i sommer sell it!!

Well 2.2 should have the option built-in, under your settings, applications, you should be able to move them to the SD card

Edit. The standard Android 2.2 definitely has it, don't know about the htc build

It has but you can only move some apps, not all.
I love my desire, but if i cant move apps its going in junkmail!!!

If you're up for a bit of risk, seriously, root your phone. Long as you properly read & follow the instructions, and not descend into complete panic if something goes tits up, there really isn't that much of an issue.

My rooted Desire, running a ported Desire HD ROM, is still comfortably the best phone I've owned. I've got several Gameloft games, both iterations of Angry Birds, 3 different SatNav apps and about 2 dozen other apps installed and I don't have any space issues. Rooting rocks.

Wow, really, you'd sell an awesome phone like that just because of the tiniest thing? And you don't want to root it, even though it's as easy as downloading a program, plugging it in and pressing some buttons? What would you get instead? Because almost everything else is a lot worse in every way.

The whole rooting thing looks very scary, dont realy wanna do it.
Yes would sell it for that reason as i cannot load any nice apps on phone.Dont understand why they made the phone like this.

What do you mean cannot laod any nice apps on it?? I had over a hundred on my Xperia X10 before I started cleaning them up a bit.. The Desire has less internal space but you should still be able to handle quite a few, just check which ones are the biggest and move those to the SD card. Unfortunately Froyo does take up a lot of space though..

By the way rooting is not scary at all, seriously. Especially on the htc phones. It's much less risky then for example updating your firmware. It just means you have "administrator" access to the system files. You don't even have to go into flash mode. It's also easily reversible if you'd ever want to do that.

Edit: There's actually an app you can run on the phone called oneclickroot. You just run it, click the button and you're done. Don't know if it works on the newer firmwares though

I already moved (the ones i can ) the big apps, but after everything i can only have 2/3 small games on phone.
Thats sucks!!
Got a link from Shiraz on how to root the desire, does not look easy.
I rooter my Samsung Galaxy S with the oneclickroot and that worked fine.Dont think you get it for Desire on 2.2

Looks like im selling it.
Anybody who wants a 1 week old Desire in perfect cond for a bargain pm me.

It's really easy to root.

Download unrevoked from here: http://www.unrevoked.com/#desire

Install HTC Sync and then uninstall it (do not uninstall the usb drivers)

Make sure that USB debugging is turned on and allow apps from unknown sources is turned on

Then follow these instructions and install the Hboot USB driver (for windows) on your PC (Ignore the fact that it says Evo 4G, it works the same for the Desire) : http://unrevoked.com/rootwiki/doku.php/public/windows_hboot_driver_install

And then run unrevoked with the phone plugged into the USB cable. It will do it's thing and then you will be rooted.

Then load a custom ROM: http://theunlockr.com/2010/09/21/how-to-load-a-custom-rom-on-the-htc-desire-2/

Unroot: http://theunlockr.com/2010/06/07/how-to-unroot-the-htc-desire/

And another rooting step-by-step procedure: http://theunlockr.com/2010/09/20/how-to-root-the-htc-desire-unrevoked-method/
