It provided a great way of getting random pictures, documents and videos. Best of all it only downloaded anything when there was barely any other network activity so it never bit into needed bandwidth. But then windows vista became prominent and all development on the app kinda just died out and now it does not even log in anymore 
Funnily enough it became very popular in the hostel I was in at the time because it provided a easy way of getting small porn-type... well random stuff if you took off the r18 limit in it's options
But anyway is there any app around these days for PC that does this kind of sharing?
