On my Gold cheque account (FNB), it's R8, doesnt matter what amout the cheque is.

If your blog will be South African based (i.e 95% of the content will be exclusively for South African), I suggset you go for a .co.za Google does give "favour" to country specific domains.

My blog is for the South African peeps, but I do have content which is useful for any country, so I do get about 10% visits from other countries every month. A .co.za does not mean your blog will never appear on other countries' SER.

But if you blog will cater for any one in the world, then a .com for sure! If you cant get a .com, then you may settle for the .net
