Any games like KOTOR?

I seriously want an RPG like this brilliant game, but I can't really find any...An i can't really wait who knows how long for KOTOR 3.

Basically the same gameplay, style etc.
 
Mass effect looks like Kotor (but is that coming to PC?).
 
Mass effect is only xbox 360 for now. It will probably be ported to the pc a year later like Jade Empire but for now only console.

KOTOR 2? :-p

You should play Oblivion, if you haven't already. I suppose it isn't really much like KOTOR, but it *is* the only other RPG I ever liked, so maybe there's something similar between them... :confused:
 
I enjoyed Jade Empire, it was a bit short though (28h or was it 18h, I forget). Must still play through again, but taking the path of the closed fist.

I'd love another KotOR, but I hope it is not rushed like 2 was.

I'm afraid the only "KOTOR" like new fix you'll get for a while is Mass Effect, which is 360 only. For a PC based and more Star Wars experience you're going to have to wait quite a while, but apparently Bioware is working with lucasarts on an MMO.

You could try some of the other Bioware games like Neverwinter nights or Baldurs gate.

On the other hand there's some fantastic 360 bundles out for Xmas ;)

EDIT: Woot! I forgot, with the new XBox originals you'll be able to download classic xbox 1 games likeJade empire straight to your 360.

Damn no xbox nor do I want one...
sigh i have Neverwinter Nights but its just, just no KOTOR :(

and I really want a single player RPG not an MMO:(

I wonder when 3 will come out?

If you are looking for a bioware type rpg The Witcher is very good. Maybe try it out .

And yes I know it isn't made by Bioware but it uses the same engine as their games and the style of play is similar except for the single character compared to a party.

@Boramk, I'm afraid "KOTOR III" will most likely be an MMO.

Hmm, if single player RPG's are what you're after, have you played Oblivion? It's fantasy, but best in class.

Alternatively, hang ten and Fallout 3 will be out sometime next year, I believe it's coming out on PC as well.

Kotor 1 & 2 are THE best games ever made in the world (apart from Monkey Island ~tm~ - which was handed to us by the gods)

i'm looking forward to kotor3.

But ya, Jade Empire is very similar to kotor, same creators (even though obsidian made kotor2 they used bioware's engine) It has the same dialogs and light/dark sides to it. Fighting is also very good and the storyline carries through... unfortunately there is only 1 major city in it, with a few outposts...it couldve been done better - but is still very enjoyable.

Another game you might want to try that i thought was flippen well made was " Fable - the lost chapters " ... its a very laid back RPG, with no classes etc. but fully kittable clothing and weapons/ skills galore. You can even buy houses and rent them out, or marry chicks, or get drunk, or run a brothel , or enter a underground fight club .. all set in Middle Ages type fantasy times.

Kekeke, Dude you know I tried to play them but it got so bad I would rather shove shards of broken glass up my @ss and sit in a tub of tobasco sauce then play it!
