Are there any good office apps for Android tablets that are a good enough replacement for MS Office?

My dad uses Excel, Word and PowerPoint frequently (well, currently he's actually using OpenOffice and doesn't like it).

I looked at QuickOffice HD, but I saw a review saying it doesn't support even basic Excel formulas. That's no good...
The others don't look good either, missing important features or other problems reported in the reviews.

So far it's looking like Windows 7 and MS Office is the best. But for everything else he likes what he's seen from my mom's new Android Tab and wants one.

Tried it, can't seem to even create a document. I choose to create a new document and all I get is a text file. Don't see formatting options or anything.
Am I doing something wrong? If so, what?

I need something that can replace MS Office. Not just something that's only good for viewing and minor edits.

Don't have a Android system at the moment (wish I did)

But apparently Google released a native app. I assume this is the one you tried

It's still early days for the Google Docs app. It really is almost unusable in its current state and Think Free Office is a gazillion miles ahead of it currently. I won't disqualify Google yet, they've got a good track record with regards to updates... :)

I also have Thinkfree on my Galaxy S. Seems ok but still absolutely miles away from MS Office in terms of functionality.

I'll try that and a couple apps you guys suggested on the tablet soon and see how he likes them. Not sure how much he'll miss most features, I guess the best way is to make him try them.

The Iconia Tab we have has the free version of Documents To Go. Pity Acer never included a premium version of an office app like Samsung does on the Galaxy S.
