any idea on the next gen intel processors?

okay so heres the thing....i need a new pc,old one is a bit dated, im starting from scratch meaning no upgrade just everything brand new...im in the process of aquiring the funds i got about 10k..i was plannin on getting one of those i52500k,gtx560,etc etc..however the thought crossed my mind that this chip is already i think gonna be a year old mayb im wrong im guessing!...so that means ive already lost a year!!!..soooooo so i go for the build or wait till next gen cpu,gpu comes out...this is 100% only for gaming so im considering all the options...
i'd rather ask the fundi's before doing my research
i play cod black ops and looking to play battlefield 3 at 1920 x 1080

Look up ivy bridge, I think that's the next gen to be released and from the rumours online it's supposedly the next best thing since sliced bread. If the eta isn't that far away I'd suggest waiting, nothing sucks more than getting something new a month or so before the next gen is released

yeah u nail on the head i read up a lil..but what concerns me is budget..i dont wanna buy a dowgrade with that cash if i can get a good upgrade
