So getting married soon,

No idea where to go for a small honeymoon ..We live against the coast (Mossel Bay ) So would like some traveling ideas

Budget is around R10k for 3-4days .Never been to the west coast or inland ..

Thanks

Cathedral Peak, Drakensberg.

Took the wife there for 4 days after her maternity leave.

Spectacular views, more than enough to do (hikes, horse rides, pools, tennis, golf, spa) and not even to mention the food. Out of this world.

stunning little town, went a year ago for the cherry picking festival. Nice restaurants, walks etc etc.

Please dont waste your money on boring activities. It is your honey moon and the one time you can waste money without a care

Cape Town.

Comfortable yet affordable accommodation on Airbnb.

Use the majority of your budget on activities.

Take a helicopter tour, vineyard, couples massage, paragliding, hike, picnic, maiden cove, Chapmans Peak & hire a sports car for the day. You can
also go to the game reserve 2hrs away from CPT.

Do the sunset yacht trip with champagne aswell.

Your wife to be should have left subtle hints as to what you should be doing.

10K budget won't get very far with you're list. I'm with Apoc184 on the Cathedral Peak option. Perfect for a honeymoon, romantic, lots to do (if you really want to on honeymoon ) and meals to die for all included in the accommodation cost.

This is only for now,We plan to do overseas trip end of next year.

we went to sycamore avenue near mooiriver. treehouses ftw!! :) the food was super awesome and cost us R2900 for two nights (in 2010).

we are more countryside holiday types, so we enjoy the quiet more than going all out touristy and doing things with other people around us.

Took the wife to Namibia for honeymoon, I had been 17 times before so clearly enjoy the place and she wants to go back.
I believe they offer massive discounts up to 50 % etc you'll have to check, maybe for newly weds.

We had an awesome time and also couple stories to tell, now she also knows what we rave about when we discuss Namibia with family.
