Looking for someone that can help me with .tar.bz2 it is related to rain. So figured i'd post it here.

You want to extract the files using:

tar -xvjf name.tar.bz2

The above command will extract to the current directory..

Ok i dont have a linux machine to run it on , So will need to do it from windows.
i'm not sure if you can commandline 7zip to extract it?

7zip command line can work, you will have to run it twice though, once for the bz2 and then second for the tar..

If you are running Windows 10, install the Ubuntu subsystem, which will allow you to run the tar command..

Because of the bz2 extension, you have to pass the j parameter to the tar command, as in the command I provided earlier..

Run the Ubuntu subsystem and give it a shot there, though, it's likely the file may just be corrupt..
