I used to write in PHP many moons ago. Opportunities and salary went through the roof since I abandoned it years ago.

It's not a future tech. MongoDB, angular, Node - this is the type of stuff that will get you noticed.
If you want to go corporate go Java or M$.

m$? Thanks for the tip ill still keep the language its easy and cheap to deploy , I always wanted to move to app development maybe ill start with Swift and React Native

If you can program, you can program. It's not that hard to get online tutorials and move from one language into another. If you go in with the right mindset, it's easy. Good luck!
