ADSL up. ADSL down. Phone Telkom.

I'm tired of this process.

Is there a real alternative to ADSL for my small buisness? Have the Sentech or iBurst guys finally got their stuff sorted or are they still just as bad?

They're slow and their coverage and downtime is ****. Sentech has also just thrown away the only thing that made it even vaguely viable - the big cap.

ADSL is the best. The most reliable is Diginet, of course, but I'm sure you know what that costs. And its downloads are slower than ADSL (when ADSL is working properly.)

My iBurst at home hardly ever goes down - much less often than the ADSL at work actually.

Interesting... My ADSL has only gone down 4 times in 2 years. Both at home and at the office.

Looking at the SAIX notifications though, we've been extremely lucky.

I've only had my adsl go down when power cuts happen (i know, duh) and uhm.. regional outages a few times in same week. But then i am in cpt
