Any SASSA pension grant experts?

Does anyone know of a way to contact SASSA regarding old age pensions and problems with the card WITHOUT actually
going there?
They don't EVER answer the phone, and e-mails sent to them only ellicit a very helpful "acknowledgement of receipt"...
Am desperate - can anyone help? Any tips and tricks?

took my relatives 6 months of standing in queues almost on a daily basis to even GET the card in the first place,
African bureaucracy at its finest,

sure wth a bribe or 3 you'll get everything sorted.
