Well they have it at wits, my university. But since I get to use wit's backbone for free, there's no point of using wifispot for R1 a meg.

So i never tried
U sure they in PTA? Isnt 24/7 online in some of the pTA area?
Oh and try hellkom, they have some lists u can try go thru~

There a quite a number of wisp in PTA area.. I havent looked at any of them myself..

There is also a WUG here (mainly in centrurion at the moment) www.pwp.za.net

Wifispot provides wifi hotspots at venues such as restuarants and coffee shops - not quite the WISP that you are looking for

As Nameite mentioned - we currently have a site at Wits University and we are currently installing at a number of other locations.
