Am thinking on buying me the amd x2 6000+ processor. But what i want to know is if the standard cooling that comes with the processor is enough Plus i got the gigabyte triton 180 case with the two standard 120mm fans on it is it enough??

As u all know by now rage nag lan is coming up soon but with 1500PC's and a expo the place will be sure to heat up.Will the processor stay cool during the time with a standard processor fan??And 1 120mm fan in front and back

If not what affordable cooling can i get for it??Cos i really do not want overheating problems @ rage.:( I know the case is made for the gigabyte 3d galaxy watercooling but i don't have enough money for it now as well.Student:(
Thx for help:D

Rage is a huge computer expo ... worst comes to worst, if it runs hot ... u can quickly go buy something there ;)

I got the AMD5600, not as nice as 6000, but it runs very cool.
I have one of the older cases (will wait till I see nice box before rebuild) but couldnt wait to play...
so I cut nice big round hole on side of case, and put one of them big fans in there, so it blows cold air right on CPU and surrounding mobo, works very well to cool.
but I'm sure any other case with standard fitting of side fan to blow onto cpu should work....

You definitely do not have to worry about heat issues on the 6000+. I built a system with that cpu two weeks ago and thought the fan was faulty (it was'nt turning), turns out the cpu was cool enough for the onboard auto fan control to not kick the fan in. It did eventually start turning as the temp rose a bit, but not at full speed and after a while it stopped again. This way it keeps the noise levels down as well.

The stock cooler also isn't to bad, heatpipes and all.
