Is it just me, or is anyone else struggling with the new interface introduced by Webmail? I can't seem to find any way to delete e-mails as I work my way through reading them, so that you have to read them all, then go back to the Inbox and try to remember which ones you wanted to keep and which to zap -- painful!

On a laptop (and worse still, on a netbook) the real-estate now taken up by the menus on the left and the ads on the right of the reading area, reduces some e-mails to almost (or on a netbook, fully) unreadably small fonts. Pumping up the browser magnification doesn't help, because the magnified text disappears behind the ads.

All in all a fairly disastrous initial revamp, I would have said. I tried 'Contact Us' to pass on my concerns, but it's apparently down, which ain't a great way for Webmail to assess whether their users are having a good user experience!

Try use the Ananzi search engine, you might find a solution there.

In seriousness, are you running an ad blocker? I recall Webmail having horrendous amounts of banners and kark.

Yes. I use adblocker. But I hardly login to their site

I've had the webmail address as a backup forever, which is why I'm reluctant to drop it. It soaks up all the commercial stuff we accumulate as we sign up for stuff, and keeps it away from my 'real' address. Easy to zap it at source by just ticking it. And given my relatively poor connection, it actually loads faster than Gmail! You can easily block the ads if they bother you. Hey, why not support a local initiative anyway! Proudly Seffrican an' all that....

yeah i hate the design myself, finally getting myself to change mail addresses from Webmail to gmail.
