Anybody else had DNS server problems?

It started last night, wasn't fixed this morning .
I had to change my DNS server to google's to get back online.

Am I the only one?

BTW :I'm with Telkom.

I have problems - can't access some websites - just tells me that the domain name cannot be resolved.

My backup Telkom account was dead when I tried it last night and not just DNS, I couldn't even tracert past the first hop. Very frustrating when both your primary (IS) and backup (TI) accounts are useless.

I normally try using 2 DNS providers, one normally from the ISP and another from something like OpenDNS which has always been reliable.

If you configure DNS to auto on your you shouldn't need to reconfiger. You'll probably still need to reboot your modem. If you have an in house dns server, then check the dns on your modem and add the ip to your forwarders list.
