Anybody else struggling with Amobia

I cannot believe the bad service I am getting from Amobia. I am on a 3MB link and have since inception been struggling to get anywhere near that speed. Now to top it all my service was totally unavailable for more than 2 weeks.
Apparently there was a high site problem which is now supposed to be fixed. I am still only getting an average speed of 1MB and not 3MB. I keep hearing promises that I will be contacted back but don't hear anything.
Is anybody else experiencing similar issues? I am seriously considering changing service provider.

I am currently researching WISPs fora getting a connection going at my place and from what I have read the past couple of days Amobia is NOT who I would go with.
