Anybody else struggling with Vodacom data services today?

Yup. I am. Some services work others don't, such as whatsapp.

Same story, no data services at all, tried in Sandton and Fourways.

Only banking sites are working on a 3G card, no google or anything.
This is in Alberton.

Me too. I phoned vodacom, they said could be my software is in need of an update and i must take it through to a vodacom shop. LOL tried my MTN sim and everything worked:erm:.

It seems the services are back to normal now.

My sister complained that her WhatsApp aint working this morning. It came back on about 15 minutes ago. Perhaps try a reboot of your phone.

Note: Sent her another test message now again on WhatsApp and it is definately working again. She is in the Wynberg/Sandton area.

Wherever I use my BB with Vodacom its slow, even with full signal it takes forever for anything to load on its browser, WhatsApp never worked on my phone, and BBM is a tad slow, maby its jusy my phone, but even my Vodacom data card has always been extremely slow, am in Bryanston btw, but the problem is wherever I go =/

Indeed seems service is restored,pains me that multiple users are affected and they say it's a software issue

Had the same problem this morning, from the Rustenburg area. Seems to be better now.
