Anybody still using VB6?

I would rather code in assembler while blind folded with one arm strapped behind my back.

I'm in Perth, working for an established mining sector company, and we still have plenty of systems running in VB6. Of course there is a mix with VB.Net, ASP.Net, Sharepoint and plenty of SQL server db stuff about too. And to be fair, I think we are in the minority as many companies spend money on upgrading their tech.

Brings back fond memories. Was taught VB6 back in '99/2000 as my very first programming language

One of our credit systems are written in VB6. But i've just converted it to C#.

From our side (should probably have gone first), our main app was developed on VB6 and finally after .NET 2 was released (.net 1.1 didn't impress), we did a rewrite on vb.net. Took about a year or two and at one stage had the VB6 app and .NET app running side by side for a couple of months. Since then we've upgraded to every .NET framework upgrade shortly after release... except for 4.5.
