Anybody Tethering through MTN?

Cant seem to get connected since I moved to windows 7.

It should work just fine. I have used it without a problem. Are you using a bluetooth DUN connection or a cable connection with your mobile/adapter?

both bt and cable working fine for me.
are you sure the drivers and dialup settings are correct?

Still no luck my cellphone software has no support under Windows 7 used to work fine in XP with cable and bluetooth.

Well there is your problem its not MTN its your phone software.

Using a Samsung i560(symbian) and it worked fine under XP asked Samsung forums as well and that did not help. I think there is no support for this mobile under this platform.

Bluetooth connectivity

I am sure you can connect via bluetooth without using your phone's software.
>First add your cellphone as a bluetooth device, then
> go to Set up a new connection or network(under Network and sharing center)
>Choose create a dial up network
>Select the modem (Standard Modem over bluetooth link#)
>Phone number *99#
>The rest blank
That should work for any phone with bluetooth.

Also make sure that your APN is correctly set on your mobile.
