Anyone buy from revibe.co.za?

Just a quick look at their website I would give it a skip. Revibe.me seems to be a legit company but revibe.co.za looks like a poor copy/paste job.

1. We're available From 9:30 am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday.

2. 4.5 Trustpilot stars is a lie. They have zero reviews
3. Contact us now via email at [email protected]
Well revibe.me has a link to revibe.co.za, aka choosing SA in their location changer.

I still get a dodgy feeling from the site though

What do you mean with legit?

Will you be fooled to pay for something you never receive?
Will it be a fake?
Was it maybe stolen?

One or more of the above will be no.

Thanks for the feedback. Checked HelloPeter and that has put me off.

Something like 14 reviews and first 6 are 1 star and 4 of those 6 are from Dec 2024.
Thereafter latest 6 has the first batch of 5 star reviews with some reviewers having created account in Dec 2024.
Even with this they are at 3.8

Numerous complaints about quality of device and no feedback from company.
found something good from Epic, so will use them as I had good service previously.

In the one review they even title it test and then they flood

Bought iPhone 14 from the week before black Friday.
They promised 2-5 business days for delivery and stuck to that, I received it on the 5th business day.

So all in all - I experienced no issues with them - from placing the order to the delivery.

Thats fair enough. I believe the issue is if there is no stock or there is an issue with device.

Mate who stays in Abu Dhabi has ordered multiple from them. They sell refurbed devices. Doubt there is a SA branch, they most likely ship directly from UAE to SA.

Even Amazon is full of bad reviews when it comes to their own renewed devices. Always a risk when buying second hand. You get what you pay for.

Hmm dealing with this now after a positive experience from a friend who replaced a single AirPod using them and with success so didn't look too much deeper when I needed to get a CPO phone for my mom.

Pricing seemed about in line with everyone else but they had gradings and bolt-on extended warranties so opted to go for them rather than Makro(WeFix).

Missed the international fee of R100 FNB took off which should have been the first sign, but then it was supposedly "out for delivery" but allegedly refused by customer (nobody was ever at my door) and only then did I spot the tracking coming all the way from Dubai with absolutely no mention of such on their website.

Went into an automatic "claim" and supposedly approved for Refund but now I wait to see if said refund will be in full or if I'm going to have to reverse it all via FNB.

So I'm not quite sure I want to call it a scam, but definitely a little dishonest in not mentioning drop shipping from the UAE anywhere and surely customs charges and so on which will be incurred on top of the transaction itself.

hi guys

has anyone bought from www.revibe.co.za?

thanks
I recently bought from revibe SA. Do not trust them its a scam! They give you a faulty phone worth R7000 and then when you lodge a warranty claim they then flew the phone out to Dubai. After that they rejected the claim and request that I pay R1500 within 7 days otherwise they keep the phone. They showed me a video of the phone it was in worse condition that it was when I sent it there!! They are scamming south Africans and people should ve wary!

Don’t ignore the bad reviews—avoid buying from these people. I purchased an iPhone that looked brand new at first, and I was happy with it. However, the device kept prompting me for software updates. I contacted their customer service several times, but the instructions they sent didn’t resolve the issue. Eventually, I discovered that the phone didn’t even have a registered IMEI number. I filed a claim on August 8, which even passed their QC checks, but I’m still waiting for my refund. Since then, they’ve gone completely silent—no replies to my follow-up emails, and the phone number listed on their website doesn’t even work.
