Lineage 2 and Star Wars Galaxies? Im tired of games I am currently playing, and I want to give these 2 a go. I have heard good things about Lineage 2 and Im just a sucker for Star Wars.

If you have the updated clients of one of the above, Ill be happy to pay the postage if you are willing to post it my way. I just spent 50 hours downloading Lineage 2 just to have the zip file corrupt.

But you buy/sell X360's/Wii's/etc/etc, buy Cocoa beans etc etc...you do know that there are 23842358 different 100% FREE MMO's out there by the way... :rolleyes:

@dakeyras Did you download the Lineage 2 zip file from Fileplanet? :sick:

Lineage II (which I'm trying to get to update at the moment after downloading it from Saix) is apparently a very good game in terms of PvP. It's quite hard on new players and does have a bit of a bot problem - so I've heard.

Star Wars Galaxies is just...old news right now. Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) messed it up in an update about 2 years ago. Where they struggled to get servers up fast enough for the players to play on, they now struggle to fill a single server. BioWare MAY be developing another Star Wars MMO, so until we find out if they will or won't, I'd say try hang in there ;)

I have some bad news for you, the client that you downloaded from saix is the beta client, and you cant update it :(

I currently play WoW, Guildwars, RFOnline, Hellgate:London, EvE and WOTMud (you guessed it, Im a mud geek!). Bored of them all though, so wanted to try something new.
 
I played SW Galaxies just after the update/change....and played for like 6 months.

It wasnt too bad, but I found everthing updated too slow, expecially when you were on teh ground in a speeder.....bushes would only be render etc as you were driving over them, sometimes enemies too....

It also got a bit expensive....so I stopped. I am a huuuuge Star Wars fan, but I did get a little bored as no fellow SA players could I find there....

I have the client, but its now around 18 months old.....not sure if you still want it.....it took me ages to download ....lol
