Anyone else constantly losing signal on their BB?

The past week my signal has constantly been switching from 3G to sos (on the MTN network),even my mom who lives in Cape Town has been having the same problem during this week,anyone else been having this problem?.

I've seen this a few times as well in the past few days. Assumed it was weak signal spots.

A couple if months back Vodacom had this problem and eventually lead to complete no services for a few outages - but different impact on users.

Now it seems MTN is heading the same way - noted a few times no signal, SOS only, slow response, network hangs.

Also seems not restricted to BB but also normal 3G !

I am moving to 8ta this week, thought I'd give it go.

Yes! I'm on Vodacom and this happens to me every night @ around 8pm. Its very frustrating as that's the time I get home.

I am on Cell-C and its been doing this for the past few days as well, it jumps between GSM, EDGE and 3G

got this on Vodacom on my blackberry, all across cape town (northern and southern suburbs).
other users in the office have this as well
in the evenings, i'd sit next to the phone and watch it change from EDGE to GRPS to GSM, and after a long time, it'll change back to EDGE without touching the phone or moving it at all.

In Durban, same problem. BBM is EXTREMELY slow to send through messages... even when its on 3g... I also lose signal completely every now and then. This is very frustrating.
