Iv driven it twice now, and after my excellent insurance quote, I think I'm gonna take it.

Everything about it is perfect for my needs, quick, reliable, service plan, safety, very fuel efficient and most of all a lot of fun to drive.

Iv looked at everything else in this price range and cant find a better deal.

My parents own just a normal swift 1.5, and i find it is such a good drive, and the build quality is awesome, so far they have not had one issue with it, and think its got 50k on the clock, they got it new, I test drove a mini cooper(went for an opel gtc instead) when looking for a new car and found that the swift just drove so much better, good value for money imo.

There's a review in the latest car mag if you want another opinion. They seem like a really good buy. Haven't yet driven one though.

They're kinda expensive aren't they? Around R210k for the 1.6 Sport as a base price. With what equipment it comes standard, I don't know though. Why would one go for something like this, with quite expensive spares that need to be imported should something go wrong, rather than say an Audi A1 1.4TSI or a Golf TSI? I'm actually shopping around and was considering these, so input would be appreciated.

Maybe because both cars you mentioned are over 300k.
