hmm...weird I see the one I linked is 2011.

Odd...I distinctly remember seeing a Tshwane/Rand Water website with very regularly testing. I recall clicking through a couple months worth for my area, noting one minor variance and leaving it at that.

OMG...the tshwane muni website for "Tshwane Metro Water Quality Report" now links to....bloody google homepage.

Rand water stopped updating their water reports in Jan 2016 it seems. Though the audit logs are still up to date at least.

Dunno about Cpt but here in Gauteng there is a ‘flu’ like thing going around which drains all your energy and pending health you may get a throat infection.

I just had a major energy drain but came out mostly unscathed. Others suffer with coughing though.
 
Yep, GF and I both had it. GF almost had to go to the emergency room, she had it really bad for a day or so. I had the runs for a day, and then the flu for a day, and cramps for about a week. We drank (and continue to drink) straight tap water, so if that's the source we're immune to it now :D

Edit: A few people in the office also had it.
 
It is seasonal. I've lived in the Cape since the mid 80's (except for a 3 year break) and every Feb / March I die from flu, coughing up and stomach cramps. OK, this year was the worst stomach cramps I've ever had.

The stomach cramp season actually starts towards the end of the year and then runs (see what I did there) until early early.

The coughing up a slime ball is from mother nature reminding us about how wonderful it is have to pollen, spray drift (in some areas) and smoke from fires in the air. To be honest I'm actually finding it better the last few years.

The flu is well, welcome to living in a city.

+1 I'm in the CT Southern Suburbs never stopped drinking tap water.Haven't been sick for the last 2 years or so.
 
Weird a friend of mine in CPT had a case of the ****s last week too. Thought it must be the no mane polony he ate, but I explained listerosis doesn't work that fast.
 
Had a similar thing yesterday. Fever, diarrhea and cramps. Fever has gone today, although the diarrhea is still lingering. I don't drink tap water at all (haven't for years), and I wash my hands with sanitizer constantly (perhaps to the point of it being "unhealthy"). So not sure how I got it. Perhaps through food from the shops or a restaurant.
 
our building manager was hospitalised for a week now, returned to work today with no improvement in his condition and I instructed him to go back home

the veins in his eyes popped from the coughing, he looks like he came out of a horror movie

Water compliance in CT is upwards of 99%, it's part of the weekly dashboard. The latest results are from January. I'm not sure where the more detailed reports are

Been sick multiple times over the last few weeks with cramps\diarrhoea and flu. The cramps were the worst I've had in years.
 
Taken out a few people at work. Whatever this is, it’s taking its sweet time to die.

Also started with cramps since Monday and diarrhoea since Tuesday. Will have to go to doctor today and like mercurial said worst cramps ever.
 
I wonder who still drinks tap water straight out of the tap... Last time I tried, I had the runs and cramps.. probably too many chemicals being added and my body just cant handle it.. I filter everything.
