Anyone experiencing high latency/lag during gaming?

It seems to be getting worse and worse. Don't know if it is because of December or what? Even playing with people in a different city/town who also have Vodacom, they also complain.

wireless tends to do that, better you learn that now and start looking for an alternative.

the more users on a tower the more congested the more latency. Even if http is fast enough, gaming will take a knock each time

Well, CellC tower just popped up so getting Giga200 soon. Hopefully it'll be better, especially past 5pm. 5-11pm I get long timeouts even though I live in a small town barely anyone knows exists...

Yes, even my whatsapp is giving issues now, waiting ages for messages to get sent or received.

I couldn't even use up all my cap last month, due to ping > 3000ms, and download at 0.04Mbps...

Don't tell me that I must learn why I shouldn't be using wireless... I used to have adsl, but then telkom stopped delivering. (5 years ago)
Maybe telkom should learn to start caring about their ex wired clients, instead of creating a whole new wireless network.
