Looking at the poster above your post, none of the guys that “can play geetar” will be there, the guitarists were Mark and David Knopfler and John Iisley with Mark Knopfler on vocals.

Chris Whitten (drums) and Chris White (saxophonist) weren’t even regular band members but went on tour as band members.

Its a real stretch to call it Dire Straits.

In that case its not worth going. Seen this before where only half the band arrive, or the main guys are missing.

Fully agree, can't call them Dire Straits without Knopfler.
