You can also try and get DDR400, but then you might have to manually set the latencies if you're going to mix it with DDR266 modules.

1GB DDR400 for R450!? That is a ripoff.
I sold 2x 1GB DDR400 (still sealed) for like R300 about 3 months ago.

Not really a rip off. This RAM has always been quite expensive and as readily available as it used to be.
I have no idea how takealot.co.za can sell some items at below cost? There's no competing with that. Thats a great deal. I'd say go for that one.

Thanks all, I see Esquire has some DDR400 in stock, 1GB for a pretty decent price. Will check it out.
