I get 209.212.96.1 and 209.212.97.1 assigned to me automatically over 3G connection but every now and then domains just don't seem to resolve.
I have been battling the last half-hour or so to open any sites, my Skype and Email (hosted Exchange) are running fine and both are connected - but sites just don't open.
As soon as I enter Google or OpenDNS servers then magically all my sites open - without even restarting the modem. Switch back to MTN's auto-assigned DNS servers and no sites load.
I have had the problem a few times recently... Getting a bit irritating now.
And yes, before anyone asks, I have contacted customer care as well as data support (whatever they are called - 1555). According to them there are no issues, either on the network or for my area...
