At work I can log in to ABSA banking just fine, using Firefox, but when I click on Full Service I just get a blank page.

No problems with any other browser.

I have already disabled extensions and deleted history, cookies, cache etc. to no avail.
I also started Firefox with shift and refreshed the browser ... still no joy.

Anyone else having the same problem?

Yip, same here.

I think it's the 1st time i ever clicked that link, but yea, not working.

I had the same problem yesterday, it came right after a few repeated logins without changing anything on the browser.

I just phoned Absa ... 08600 08600

The lady confirmed that there is a problem with "Full Service".

Initially she made it sound as if the problem existed on all browsers but I told her that it still works on Chrome. ...

So apparently there is a problem, they do know about it and it is probably limited to Firefox.

Screw you guys for not using chromium based browsers! I'm old enough to remember the IE6 days of incompatibilities.

Interesting.
Make your claim and then substantiate please?

Is Firefox better than Chrome for privacy?

Yes, Firefox enables more privacy features than Chrome. In particular, it blocks third-party cookie tracking and many other monitoring tools by default. Also, Firefox has more advanced privacy and security settings customization – for instance, you can block social tracking conducted by platforms like Facebook.29 Aug 2023
