Anyone know anyone at Raru?

My mobo blew up two weeks ago and took the plunge and went insane with a new build.

However the most important component- the motherboard has not arrived yet. Ordered on the 4 May 2020. My order still shows processing and they're not responding to my emails and the phone just rings and rings.

Ordered components from Evetech, Wootware, OnlyOnline and Takealot and they have all arrived except for this. I am losing my mind not being able to play CSGO.

Can anyone help or give me an email or something to try?

got ahold of someone this morning. apparently my order will take another week. so i told them to cancel it and refund me. bought the same mobo at wootware for R700 more but at least they will get it to me by Friday. Never going to shop with Raru again. what a nightmare.

Did you pay with credit card? Lodge a dispute for reversal.

Yeah, I was in the same boat. over 5 months later and I was still waiting on a refund. I just gave in and bought a steam voucher. It's not my cash back, but honestly, I'm just glad I never have to deal with that company again.

ya can recommend to anyone not to touch raru.co.za with a barge pole through a cellphone.

I must say though, i used RARU once since i had my issue with them.

I just kept in mind that if i do need a refund i will have to wait +- 6 weeks....

I deal with them often, as Its a convenient way to get my hobby supplies, never had an issue at all. In fact, they have been very accommodating with me changing my order, swapping out items and so forth.

Can't agree with you there, I've ordered from them countless times with little to no delays, proper speed with vouchers / codes delivery, and recently when I ordered something just before the e-commerce restriction lift, they've kept in constant communication with me on supplier status and whether I would've wanted a refund or product swap, I highly recommend them in my experience but of course this isn't true for everyone, like most companies.

you will feel slightly different when they owe you R6500....

sure, no matter the cost regardless. I've never been put in a position yet that required a refund which is why I'm not dismissing the bad claims on this thread outright as they are valid.
