Anyone know how to get Axigen Mail Server working on Windows 2008?

I installed the Axigen Mail Server trial on one of our Windows 2008 R2 servers. Mail server is installed, accounts created and the webmail interface is kinda accessible. I can even connect to the mail server from Outlook.

The problem thus far however is that I cannot send or receive any mail. Mail sent to the account is never received and mail sent from the account, gets stuck in the queue with a "Send Failure" status. Clicking on the Info button next to the error gives the fail-info as "Domain Lookup error".

Before Axigen, I had SmarterMail installed and that worked fine so I haven't made any changes to the DNS settings or anything.

Does it resolve the domain? Check the name servers in the Axigen console.

I used Axigen back in 07-09 and moved to Google Apps, don’t remember…

Ok, after some digging, I found that there are no DNR nameservers set up in Axigen. Any idea what IP addresses I should put here? SmarterMail didn't need this configured.
For now, I put the Hetzner nameservers in there (it's all I know) and that had some progress.
I sent an email to my main email address, my gmail address and to the Axigen email that I sent the mail from with the following results:
To my main email address: Success
To my gmail account: Domain Lookup Error
To the Axigen account self: Filter ClamAV(127.0.0.1:3310):[ERROR]: Could not connect to filter

Thanks, I think everything is set up properly now.

It is just the Outlook Connector that isn't working too well (causes Outlook to crash sometimes). I think I've given up on getting a solution to properly share calendars between users via Outlook now... I'm just going to write a plugin for Outlook that syncs Outlook calendar entries with a Sql database or something.

I've tried SmarterMail which is nice, but their calendars sync via some Sharepoint type of connector which makes the functionality on shared calendars a bit limited, so people aren't using it.

MailEnable seems pretty nice, but with their pricing, it isn't even worth exploring the option since we don't even have 20 mailboxes (of which only 5 require the functionality to share calendars).

Axigen was the last Windows-based solution and I got everything working, except that the Outlook Connector plugin made Outlook unstable. We'll probably continue on the free edition of Axigen going forward

Ok, it seems I've hit one more snag with the final change-over to the new server. I changed our domain's DNS to point to our server, yesterday morning.

Outlook seems to be working fine, but, my Google Nexus tablet (which is connected to the internet via my Adsl line), tells me that the username / password is incorrect. This is for both imap and pop3. Both working from my pc / outlook.
My phone checks email without issue, but it still checks the old mailbox even though no DNS records are still pointing to that server.
