Anyone know where I can find MacBook pro SSD?

I'm looking for a MacBook Pro 15 inch SSD mid 2015. If anyone has or someone you know that's looking to do a swap for a HDD with more space please let me know. Need to get my laptop working as I don't have a working computer right now or the capital means to get a new one or let alone the SSD replacement. So I have to replace it myself. Would be great if this individual have torx screw drivers or pliers to supplement :)

There’s nothing special about the SSD you can use any old one.

And the screwdrivers you can get off Takealot and probably even Builders.

512G is about 700, 1TB about 1100 odd.

Install is easy, if you have a screwdriver set, you can do it. If not, find a cellphone store in the mall, ask them to do it.

You'll need to install an OS on there after though.

You need a pentalobe screwdriver to take off screws holding the bottom cover on, they aren’t too easy to find.

Life saver. Here I am looking at OWC hardware costing an arm and a leg... Thanks alot!
 
Any suggestions where I can get the cheap screwdriver or which I should get? I sort of busted my screw for the SSD to take it out when I tried to with a knife (bad move, never again). I think small pliers might work.

Okay looks great but does this have like some sort of a extraction tool for a worned screw that's stuck, because the screw I have keeping the SSD is not in great condition I might've messed it up...

Buy a bigger drive, 256GB is meh nowdays.
If you're on a budget and looking for a cheap consumer DRAM'less drive then this seems reasonably priced:

Pretty easy to find if you live near a decent size Checkers

They seem fine but I tend to lose and replace them before that stage... :)

On the plus side every time I buy a new set it's better that the one preceding it.
