How quiet politics have gone since the Election results?

Maybe it's just me and with all the hype of last week and we got flooded with news. But I think it's because they all sitting in boardrooms trying to bullshyte each other now for coalitions instead of us :D

Doesn't this happen after every election?

Sure. Like I said, maybe it was just all the hype in the last 3 days of last week that flooded it so much that we feel like our internet has been cut off :o

Just soooo quiet its eerie

Ah, the DA. Talking k*k about smaller parties all the time and now seeking their help.

Your bias is showing. The ANC also talked down on smaller parties. Even calling the DA and EFF small ones. But now need them also.

Bias? I remember the DA being quite vocal about why voters shouldn't vote for smaller parties.

Yes. The ANC was also and even more vitriol with their propaganda. It's the nature of politics.

Bias? I don't like politics enough to have a bias. The DA radio ads talking about smaller parties are the only ones I've heard.

I think bias on this forum means talking negatively about the DA.

Don't feign naivety. We all have (political) biases. You took a potshot at the DA, but fail to mention the ANC's disrespect toward parties smaller than they, when a quick jump to news24 would show it is the ANC who is mostly moving and shaking to get into bed with their smaller foes.

Again, it's the nature of politics: you amplify your own virtues whilst diminishing those of your opponent.

I wish the IEC would step up and do something about the propaganda and blatant lies that pop-up time after time to misrepresent a party, but, ai, voter education is but a dream.
