Anyone ordered a custom suit from Indochino?

If this is the international site unless someone can confirm they used it I would try it at all. There is a potential that you will lose you money. Also rather pay a little more and buy here than get something you don't like. Would never order something like a suit online let alone internationally...

Great experience, two suites, three shirts, amazing team work with a nice handoff from the purchase process to the measuring process. Highly recommend this firm for anyone.

Have had a horrible experience here getting a suite and shirt as part of a wedding party. Go up the street to Surmesur for better product.
The staff here at Indochino Toronto are all nice and friendly, but the product and quality is awful. On the first attempt, the jacket was way too small. I could hardly get my arms through the sleeves and the neck area had a weird fold. Some alterations later, it was deemed to be unfixable and they decided to remake the jacket. Pants were ...

The quality of IndoChino’s suits is extremely poor. A seam on the pants (interior of the knee) began to come apart on the third wear. IndoChino says there’s nothing they can to about it as they don’t know “how the pants were cared for.” They were being by worn, or they were hanging up; that should not constitute inappropriate care for any reasonable piece of clothing. Instead it just sounds like an easy way to not take responsibility for the poor quality of your product. Would only recommend IndoChino if you’re looking to spend $400 for a single use suit.

I have have two indochino suits and I'm sad to say that I am very disappointed in both of them. On my first suit the pants ripped on me and it was already too late for indochino to cover the cost of fixing it. I only wore it a total of 3 times. I ordered a second suit from them hoping it would be better, but unfortunately it wasn't any different. The pants were too tight, the chest and shoulders felt off and it just didn't fit me right. I was very disappointed considering it ...

Come to think of it, not really.
Have read quite a few reviews. Mixed. Some very happy. Some less so.
Indochino was a horrible experience!! We had 9 suits ordered through them. 4 of us, including mine were fitted at the Chicago store when we were there for the bachelor party. All of them needed alterations. 6 total out of 9 of us needed to have the suits altered in one way and 4 of them needed to be remade. I had to drive 2.5 hours, one way to the closest store in Boston to have them remeasure me and tell me my jacket needed to be remade. It was supposed to be an expedited order because the wedding was 1 month away. It was never expedited. My jacket never showed up in time and I was the only one in the wedding party that had a different suit, which I ended up having to go to men’s warehouse to purchase. After many disappointing phone calls to customer service, hoping my jacket would show up in time, I was getting no where. They finally told me that their production is in China and there is no way I’ll have it in time for the wedding. I really got no compensation except being told I could keep the pants but those were being lengthen at the time at a cost of 30$ to me. Whats the purpose of having a pair of pants with no matching jacket. I asked if they would, at the very least consider comping the groom for his suit because he wanted all of us to match for pictures, they did not and did nothing for him.
I can’t express enough my dissatisfaction and frustration with this company! I will never use them again or recommend them to anyone!! So please if you don’t want anymore of a headache surrounding the planning of your wedding, do not go through Indochino!!

At that price not worth the risk. I dont like see ppl getting messed around esp with international sellers its a nightmare!

Custom suit?
I'd rather just get a ticket to Hong Kong or spend the money locally and have it properly fitted. Not sure how much those suits are, but imo the whole point of a custom suit is standing there getting it tweaked & fitted until its perfect.

I used to have suits made by a wonderful tailor in Anderson St, but he died and I've since moved from Joburg to the Little Karoo, so local options are limited.
Thirty years ago we were certain the days of made-to-measure bespoke clothing were imminent ... 3D laser scanner, total body measurement, select materials, press the button, and voila! a totally individualised and perfectly fitting garment at a fraction of the price of one tailored manually.
If you'd asked me in 1990, I would have put money on the certainty that the technology would be pervasive by 2020.
Well, it isn't. East Asian sweatshops are sadly still cheaper than machines, it seems.
Still, I do want to order a few suits, mainly because a) I like tailored MTM clothing, and b) I need some new suits, and c) I want to try this before I die.
My first choice for internet-ordered custom suits is probably Oliver Wicks. They do European-style clobber with Italian fabrics, but they don't deliver to SA. Indochino aren't nearly as nice, but they do serve SA in 3 weeks from order.
Might as well give it a bash. Maybe a suit and a few shirts and trousers.
