Anyone rooted Galaxy Gio (S5660)

Has anyone here rooted their Samsung Galaxy Gio S5660?

I've been thinking about doing it for certain features and apps but not sure about the best way to go about it, how to undo it or what to do if something goes wrong or precautions to take.

Any help here and hopefully some peace of mind doing this, would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks though I've come across the main post there about rooting before and the file it links to doesn't exist so it hardly inspired confidence.

I have managed to get help though so it doesn't matter anymore.
