Anyone taken Xanor?

Hi

So i'm flying to PE this weekend and have got a medication called Xanor to take. Has anyone ever had this? Anything i should know about it?

I've looked up on the internet and can't see any real side effects. So should be fine. Hope it works to calm me down! Terrified of flying. :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::
 
Dunno, I took some motion sickness pills while going fishing in the deep blue sea... ended up puking anyways lol :D
 
Yeah, it did, but at least I fed the fish and managed the biggest catch for the day... so it was worth it in the end!
 
The problem with them is they make you feel so good you want to use them all the time.
 
Okay so they've given me a generic version called adco alzam, 0.5 mg? Anyone heard of this?
 
I recently flew to PE.

Nothing happened. The stewardess didn't sat in my lap, the plane didn't crash, and everything was uneventful.

Stop being paranoid. :p

Alprazolam is an extremely hard drug and serget is wise to inform herself about it. Many horror stories to be told about that drug. If the ill-informed peanut gallery offering their 2c would please recognise this.
 
If only it were as easy as that! You can't understand what it's like to be that anxious. It's completely dibilitating and ultimately leads to panic attacks. It's not as easy as saying "i'm going to be fine"
 
i want to make sure i know what i'm taking before i just pop it in my mouth and wait to see what happens.

... I made the comment as I have taken that drug before .... maybe next time think before just grouping with your 'peanut gallery' post huh ;)

... I have Agoraphobia, so trust me, I understand more than most ;)
 
And ignore that ugly looking twilight zone fella standing on the wing of the plane tearing it apart :)

My dad takes it twice a day due to stomach alcers and he is always fine, even when he first started taking it he never looked out of it and felt perfectly normal.

In all fairness, the doctor/pharmacist/shop assistant should not have given it to you without informing you of possible side effects.

For stomach ulcers? On the theory that stress exasperates ulcers?

Then, having taken this drug, "oh it's fine don't worry about it" is what you think of alprazolam, and also constitutes your advice to someone taking it for the first time?

Sorry, I disagree. I have also taken this drug and it is right up there with the most dangerous drugs that I can think of, and i feel people are not adequately informed about this drug by their doctors and pharmacists. Any time that a person exposes themselves to a potentially permanent amnesia and other such adventures, they deserve to be informed.
 
1) Refer to me one more time as peanut gallery and it's a fscking RBP
2) Every drug under the damn sun has a multitude of side effects .... I think I have 2 atm that have 'death' as a side effect.
