Anyone think there should be a minimum post limit for competition entry?

So I'm not posting this because I'm salty about not winning, I have won a mystery gadget in the past. I just feel that there should be a minimum post limit or time as a member before an account can enter one of the competitions on the forums as this would take away from the users who create pseudo accounts just to enter. There's a constant stream of accounts with only 3 or 4 posts who are entering. This is just my opinion on making the competitions more fair, anyone else's thoughts?

*looks at OP's post count*
*looks at own post count*
*looks at empty space on shelf reserved for mybb prizes*

Ja...don't think it matters.

I'll check for Foxhound's post in the morning ;)

You do realise mybb do these comps to get more people registered and to add to their email mailing list. More unique email addresses more $$$.
The make way more off advertising than the prizes cost them. In fact I'll even go as far as to say they get the prizes sponsored in exchange for some ad space/slot.

Business buddy, business.

Yes, there should be a minimum post count of 130 and joined the forum before June 2015. Anyone who has less than that who has won a mystery gadget should be forced to return it.

In real life around a braai you’ll find different kinds of people. The joker, the life of the party (any party), the observer and others.
Just like that you find different types of forumites, the “observer” that follow the interesting conversations, skip the boring ones, and only comment when he has something positive to add. Then you get the posters that just have to have the last say, or tjirp anything that pops up.

So no, post count alone shouldn’t be the deciding factor, add at least a year of membership.
