Skaap works fine

If you don't have broadband access at home it's a winner.

Been using it for a week while I'm in Asia & my mrs needs to call me. Works fine with slight delay on some calls but would recommend it. email the guys : [email protected] .they're human & respond even if their credit card checking process is a bit onerous.

I signed up for SKAAP on my mobile a few weeks ago, and I use their PC Phone application when I am travelling overseas. If you are a mobile contract user its a killer because you getted billed the call to the 0861 number as part of your free minute package and then I am paying 46 SA cents to call my partner in the UK. Seems like a good integrated solution to me.

and yeah the sound is great even on low speed connections
