Is it worth the change? What advantages are you experiencing in regard to battery, reception and so on?

Is it buggy? I've heard of frequent app crashes.
also, anyone using the gear with it?

I think it would be absolutely crazy to use Cyanogenmod on a Note 3.

It's a very specific device and the Samsung software actually makes it shine.

What on earth can you really gain by putting Cyanogenmod on it? Overclock the CPUs with 10Mhz? Why?

I honestly don't understand why you would faak up your Note 3 warranty, as it's a very expensive device.

If you are hell-bent on getting rid of the Samsung "bloat ware", just disable all Samsung apps in Application Manager, and it's gone.

Tried it about 2 months ago and was quite buggy back then(app freezing, random reboots), so didn't bother using it anymore.
I then went to DarthStalker after reading reviews and checking video clips, but only to find that it keeps disconnecting my GSM signal every 10 seconds.
I then went on to XNote and currently still use it. As for battery life, I can't comment on CM, but XNote has improved it from around 10 hours to 16 hours for me (constantly on wifi, power saving on, gps off, bluetooth off).

Naa I was just wondering about it. I would hope for a longer battery life more than anything. Not that I'm having any real issues now tho. Just hoping for a little more.

Technically since I've rooted my device its out of warranty anyway, but I dont think I'm ready to flash it tho.
Thanks for the bloat ware tip, I didn't know that. Its annoying, but not a show stopper for me.

I will take a peruse of the xnote rom tho...
