Anyone using the Adonit Jot st Capacitive stylus Pen

I did some research and found that the Adonit Jot is the best stylus pen for a capacitive screen.

Thoughts on this pen using it to take notes during meetings? Is anyone in SA using it and if so where did you purchase it?

I read some reviews saying you cannot use it to take notes as it makes too much noise.
I am also not sure how long does the transparent bit on the end last.

My wife has one. Bought it at the iStore in Menlyn, Pretoria. Generally I think it is more accurate than other stylii for capacitive screens (my wife has an iPad 2), but she complains that she still cant write as fine as she can with pen and paper.

I took spme notes using a regular capacitive stylus at a conference last year and it reaaly worked well, as long as I wrote large enough (not as if paper was limited). Also, depending on your tabet, get an app with palm protection.

Thanks. It's capacitive so it's understandable that it's not as good as paper.

Apparently that specific pen doesn't work well with certain screen protectors. Does it make noises and is she using a screen protectors?
