I've got a wall mount/bracket for up to 30KG / 42" ... Sealed and bought from Cats Digital for R499.00 about 18 months back.

I'm putting it on Bidorbuy shortly - but if there is anyone of the 30+ plasma buyers that Postman converted interest, PM me ;)

Why you not wall mount your TV?... or is it bigger than 42" now?

It's been bigger than 42" for a while.

I didn't buy it though ; my brother bought it for his 40" Sony Bravia ... but is happy with stand mounting anyhow

What do you guys do with the cables when wall-mounting? I want to wall mount my TV, but I don't want to see all the cables hanging below. I thought of chasing a conduit into the wall, but that's a hell of a job just to conceal some cables...

I used some half round conduiting...

Once I have all my stuff in place I will paint it the same colour as the wall and it should practically vanish.

some trunking? doesn't look to bad, saw a friends last week and he had some trunking going down with floating shelves, looked good.

I'm hoping to have mine all sorted next weekend.. will post photos of it when I'm all done.

Yeah, a surface-mounted trunking / conduit might be the answer. We want to put a stand alone piece of furniture below the TV, so maybe if it's the same colour as the wall it'll be okay. Better than black cables, anyway.
