Anyone with an unused contract?

Hi all. Just wanted to ask if anyone here is on a contract (some form of iBurst lite, as cheap as possible) which is not being used perhaps. I would be very interested in using it on a month to month and paying your monthly tab. It will be for extremely light use - primarily just email and very limited browsing - hence the lower the cost the better. I am in the northern suburbs of JHB.

hmmm that is a lame question...

some ne paying for a contract and not using it ??

rather ask if someone is wanting to part from the contract .. might get better responce ....

Dont you get Iburst lite on month to month anyway, why not just buy it whats the differance?

You want to have the persons modem too as you dont want ot buy your own?

EHV - correct. I have spoken to a number of people with contracts and they all say that iBurst will not allow transfer of the contract. Also, this is pretty temporary - around 4-5 months tops. That means taking out a 12/24 month contract is not viable and it does not make sense to buy a modem outright either.

I am thus looking for anyone who has a contract and does not use it e.g. if they got ADSL installed, and does not want to pay the cancellation penalty etc.

Well If you were in Cape Town ive got a friend who just cancelled the G3 and still has the modem and could probably get the contract back as he is still on at the moment, but I guess that doesnt help you.

Yeah...pity about that. I know someone in this situation up here in JHB but they are on the 3GB contract which is a bit too much for me at the moment.
