I need to ask a favour of a forumite.

Anyone got a NES in cape town and a game of two?

Will trade the use of it for 20 mins for beer :)

who can say no to beer!

*sob story follows*

I bought a retro duo and a programmable flashcart for homebrew, but one of the two isn't working, and I need to test which one isn't

they were both rather expensive, and it makes me sad

Supplier is in US, and it is going to be a terrible mistake to send them both back

*end sob story*

Anyway, it needs to be a NES, not a famicom or famiclone

Remember the BEER, and help a fellow console geek out!

You're gonna have a hard time, n=most people's NES's are TV games or Telegame Stations. Inever actually seen a real NES.

yeah, i realise!

I know it is a long shot, but don't have much other choice.

I don't think I have ever seen a real NES, closest I've gotten is the retro duo clone. Knock off, but it is meant to be a good one. I do not know seeing as I can't get it to work

Orange screen :?

makes me sad

AFAIK the NES was never really big in SA. Those Eastern clones were much cheaper to manufacture and/or import...

good old famiclones, I had one as a kid, think my parent's convinced me it was the real deal along with some raebok shoes !

still hopefully someone might be able to help!
