Since neither my accountant nor I can convince SARS for the last 6 months to get rid of a duplicate income tax number and this has been dragging on forever, I am wondering if anyone from SARS works here - pls PM me!
Nothing of my employment details have changed and in June 2012 SARS decided to give me a 2nd tax number and although a case was opened SARS decided to continue furnishing penality letters.
So any helpful SARS employee please contact me, I will not be angered that none of your (incompetent) peers could sort out a simple issue in now 6 months.
