Is it just me, or does Age Of Empires 2 lag with iBurst? Intl Pings avg at about 270 - 300. A RTS should work smoothly with these pings, yet I'm getting a rather K@K gaming experience.

Any way to fix this? Perhaps an IP change?

No Idea, try AOE 3. In all likelihood it would run worse, but at least you aren't going back to 1998..

Those pings look great to be honest for an international server, and like you say an RTS definitely should work very well with those pings.

Try an IP and server (the one the game is hosted on) change. Bad performance could also be caused by packet loss, which wouldn't generally affect ping time as the pings are usually static and only updated occasionally on game servers. Try a ping from the command prompt and see if you get any loss.

My connection drops every 5 min, so no games are playable. Apparently full signal has nothing to do with anything.(*Prays that ADSL is available in his area, and that Telkom will phone him soon*)

Lol, you expect Telkom to phone you?

Or is this a return call you are waiting on, because otherwise you might find yourself waiting a very long time :p

The problems usually only start once you call Telkom, so I wouldn't be particularly looking forward to that.

Even waiting for telkom to respond is better than staying on this network :( Ive wasted about 4GB of bandwidth this month trying to complete A GAME, so I could get my score. I think this whole month I have had one game I was allowed to complete from beginning to end :(
