AP/ROUTER ISSUE

i recently installed Telkom's Huawei 4G LTE router (Model: B315S-936), i use to have a Netgear Router with ADSL, i have two AP's , B-Link WR1000, for some reason i cannot extend my current wifi connection, i set it up as a wireless AP and it does scan and find my network but it doesnt boost my signal at all. any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

does it repeat the signal, does it connect to the SSID and rebroadcast, can you ping the gateway across devices.

that b315 has weird DNS issues btw..
