Hey this is my first time installing an configuring Apache

I have installed it
installed msql
but i am struggling with Php, i ran the install thing with go pear ,in cmd , but if i want to view the phf files trough localhost , i does not pick it up

Please tell me what i am doing wrong

must be a windows user.
linux user would have figured it out already / had it preinstalled.
go with xampp / wamp.
what you are doing wrong is installing pear before you install php.

Ya you right its windows, that's why it sucks, but ya, I went on that site no help , I need someone that has done it before on windows for real not notes, that don't help its outdated

Remove what you have installed so far. Then download and install xampp. It is super easy installer that will do everything for you.

I just installed the latest version (1.7.3) and it works great on windows 7 - just make sure to disable skype it causes port conflicts.

No need to disable Skype - just untick the "Use Port 80 or 443 for incoming connections" in Skype options.
